Virginia Knowlton Killed in Boulder, CO Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 3 in Boulder, Colorado. Virginia Knowlton sadly lost her life when she was struck by a motor vehicle at Alpine Avenue and Broadway. Knowlton was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to injuries. Boulder police did not suspect speed or intoxication as factors in the crash. The accident remains under investigation by the department.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
