Veronica Perez killed in three-vehicle accident near Mattawa

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, December 6 in Mattawa Washington. 54-year-old a Veronica Perez died after a fiery three vehicle rollover crash  on state Route 243. For a reason still under investigation 40-year-old Dennis Podgaytes crossed the centerline and smashed into two cars causing one to roll. Perez who was driving one of the cars sadly died on the scene. Authorities said two other passengers riding and two other vehicles were also injured. All were taken to an area hospital.
