Trudy Slanger Killed In Lynnwood, WA Accident

Wrong way accident on Route 525

Tragic accident that occurred on April 11 in Lynnwood, Washington. Trudy Slanger was tragically killed in an accident with a wrong-way driver on State Route 525 near 148th Street Southwest when a car traveling southbound in the northbound lanes struck Slanger’s vehicle head-on. The driver of the vehicle that struck Slanger, 37-year-old Robert Rowland, was a suspect in a kidnapping case and was being pursued by police at the time of the crash. Sadly, Slanger died at the scene. Rowland is facing charges of kidnapping, first-degree domestic violence assault and second-degree murder.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
