Steven Hermanson Killed In Springfield, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 30 in Springfield, Illinois. Steven Hermanson was tragically killed when the vehicle that he was traveling in collided with a disabled tractor-trailer on Interstate 55. The semi-truck was traveling northbound when it crossed the median ditch and became disabled across all southbound lanes causing the vehicles to become engulfed in flames. Sadly, Hermanson was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the ISP.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
