Samantha Sandoval Arrested in Newport Beach, CA Accident

21-year-old suspect allegedly struck pedestrian, fled the scene

A tragic accident occurred on April 24 in Newport Beach, California, when a pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash. The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of 22nd Street and Newport Boulevard. Police identified the suspect as 21-year-old Samantha Sandoval of Jurupa Valley, who was arrested days later in Fontana. The victim was hospitalized with major injuries. Sandoval was booked into jail for hit-and-run resulting in injury. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact Newport Beach Police at 949-644-3681.
