Salvador Lopez Arrested Passenger Killed in Phelan, CA Accident

Single-vehicle DUI crash reported on Highway 138

A tragic accident occurred on January 24 in Phelan, California, when a female passenger was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 138 near State Route 2. The Honda HR-V, driven by 31-year-old Salvador Robles Lopez of Lancaster, swerved and struck a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn. Lopez was arrested at the scene on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter. Two other passengers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
