Ruth Smith Injured In Beaufort, MO Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 22 in Beaufort, Missouri. Ruth Smith was injured after being struck by an SUV driven by a 49-year-old woman on U.S. 50. Smith was hit as the Acura attempted to drive around another vehicle that was slowing for a pedestrian crossing. Smith was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington for treatment of her injuries. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
