Rudy Mercado was tragically killed when his pickup truck was struck head-on by another driver on Highway 4. The accident occurred when a Honda sedan driven by a 21-year-old woman attempted to pass another vehicle. The Honda illegally crossed solid yellow lines, colliding with Mercado’s pickup. Sadly, Mercado was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
