A tragic accident occurred on May 16 in Oakland, California, when Robert Joe Dixon was struck by a pickup truck while standing near East Bay Market & Liquor. Authorities said the vehicle drove onto the sidewalk during the incident. Dixon was among multiple people killed in the crash, and others were injured.
