Tragic accident that occurred on May 9 in Millers Creek, North Carolina. Nathan Shane Oxentine was injured in a three-vehicle accident on North Carolina 16 when a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway. A Toyota Venza behind the Chevy failed to reduce speed in time and veered left, colliding with the pickup. The force of the collision sent the Toyota into oncoming traffic, where it collided head-on with Oxentine’s Jeep Liberty. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
