Montana Carroll was one of two people who lost their lives in a motor vehicle crash along Georgia Route 122 when a Nissan began to hydroplane on the wet road surface. It spun and slid into the southbound lanes where it collided with a Kia. The impact sent the second vehicle into a ditch along the highway. The driver of the Kia, Carroll, a Cairo High School senior, was killed. GSP continues to investigate the crash.
