Melissa Mapa Killed In Fort Worth, TX Accident

Ireland native attending college in Texas killed

 Tragic accident that occurred on May 10th in Fort Worth, Texas. Melissa Mapa, a native of Ireland attending college in Texas, was tragically killed in an accident caused by a reckless driver. The tragedy unfolded when a Euless police officer tried to stop the driver of a Ford Focus which sped up and collided with a passenger vehicle occupied by Ms. Mapa. The suspect, whose name hasn't been released, tried to flee the scene but was apprehended. He was arrested for evading arrest and could face additional charges. Ms. Mapa was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
