Mel Romero Injured in Lewis County, WA Accident

42-year-old passenger hospitalized after Route 508 accident near Napavine

A tragic accident occurred on May 6 in Lewis County, Washington, when 42-year-old Mel Romero was injured after a vehicle crashed into a ditch along state Route 508 near Napavine. Authorities said the Acura RDX left the roadway and struck a fence. Romero and the driver were transported to Providence Centralia Hospital for treatment. Troopers said alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
