Mary Baumgardner Killed In Pearblossom, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, March 24 at around 7:28 PM in Pearblossom, California. Mary Baumgardner was tragically killed when she was struck by a vehicle on State Route 138. The pedestrian was walking southbound across the eastbound lanes of the highway when she was struck by 61-year-old Reina Urena. The impact sent the victim into the westbound lane where she was then struck by another vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene after the collision. Sadly, Baumgarder, was pronounced dead at the scene. The case remains under investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact the Antelope Valley CHP Office at 661-948-8541.
