Tragic accident that occurred on February 11 in Brentwood, New York. Maria Ramirez was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident while walking on Brentwood Road at the Long Island Railroad crossing. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police described the cars that hit Ramirez as gray and blue sedans. Anyone with information is asked to call the Suffolk County Police Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
