Makenna Morse Killed In Aurelius, MI Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 21 in Aurelius, Michigan. Makenna Morse died and her 3-year-old daughter was injured in a two-vehicle collision at College and Columbia roads when a 21-year-old man driving south failed to yield at the intersection with Columbia Road. Consequently, his vehicle collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by 26-year-old Makenna Morse. Deputies said that Morse was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to injuries. Her daughter was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation but deputies said that alcohol did not play a role.
