Crash at Main and Tama Streets

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday July 3rd, in Slater, Iowa. Linda Nordstrom was injured when she was struck by a 75-year-old woman backing out of a driveway after a July 4th parade.  According to the Iowa State Patrol, the fatal accident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Main and Tama streets. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
