Woman severely injured in suspected DUI rollover crash on I-35

A tragic accident occurred on June 7 in San Antonio, Texas, when Leonardo Cruz Jr. was allegedly driving under the influence on Interstate 35 near the Interstate 37 on-ramp. Authorities said his truck struck a guardrail and overturned. A woman passenger suffered severe injuries, including a fractured neck and brain bleed, and was hospitalized. Cruz was arrested and charged with intoxication assault causing serious bodily injury. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
