Laura 'Christi' Burns Killed In Dix, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 3 in Dix, Illinois. Laura ‘Christi’ Burns tragically lost her life on Rockcrusher Road,which runs alongside Interstate 57. A preliminary investigation revealed that two side-by-sides were riding together when one of the drivers pulled ahead of the other. In an attempt to reunite, the vehicles crashed head-on, leaving one of the passengers, Burns, fatally injured. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
