Kevin Smith Killed In Sharps Chapel, TN Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 6 in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee. Kevin H. Smith was fatally injured in a head-on motor vehicle accident on Maynardville Highway when a pickup heading southbound traveled across the dividing line and slammed head-on into a northbound minivan. After impact, the pickup careened off the roadway, struck a guardrail, and erupted in flames. Smith tragically died at the site of the crash. Reports say that the truck had been traveling in a reckless fashion prior to the incident. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
