A tragic accident occurred on December 30 in Oakland, California, when Juanetta Jones was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash while riding in a car with her aunt. The SUV that struck their vehicle fled the scene. Jones was hospitalized in critical condition with a broken neck and paralysis below the shoulders. A GoFundMehas been started to help her family.
