Bakersfield man killed in Interstate 5 collision

A tragic accident occurred on October 25 near Corcoran, California, when a Bakersfield man was fatally injured in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 5. According to CHP, 21-year-old Josue Gutierrez Garcia of Hesperia was driving a Chevrolet Suburban south in the northbound lanes when he struck a Chevy Malibu head-on, then collided with a Subaru Legacy. The Bakersfield man later passed away. Garcia was arrested on suspicion of DUI. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
