Johnny Avertt Killed In Parker, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on November 5 in Parker, Texas. Johnny Avertt lost his life in a collision between a pickup truck and his motorcycle on the Interstate 20 service road. A 2001 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 motorcycle was traveling east when the pickup driver failed to yield right-of-way while turning left onto Farm-to-Market 1189 and struck the motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson driver, 71-year-old Johnny, died in the accident. This investigation is ongoing and no additional information was immediately available.
