Jerome Johnson Killed In LaSalle, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 10 in LaSalle, Illinois. Jerome Johnson died after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver along Illinois 251. He exited his vehicle and began walking alongside the highway when he was struck by a vehicle just south of North 36th Road. The driver fled with no regard for the victim. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses or those with further information are urged to contact ISP. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
