Jeremy Gilford Killed In Harris, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 16th in Harris, Texas. Jeremy Gilford was tragically killed when the car that he was traveling in was struck by an Amtrak train in the 7900 block of Van Hut Lane. The Chrysler the victim was traveling in failed to yield the right of way to a train and attempted to bypass the level crossing signal. The Amtrak train struck the Chrysler along the Beaumont Highway railroad, sending the car into a ditch. Gilford was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
