Jeffrey Stewart Killed In Winters, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on September 27 in Winters, Texas. Jeffrey Lenk Stewart was tragically killed when his car was struck by a driver that crossed the center stripe on U.S. 83. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the accident occurred when a northbound pickup truck driven by a 74-year-old man crossed the centerline, striking a semi-truck and Stewart’s vehicle. Sadly, Stewart was pronounced dead at the scene. Stewart's three passengers were all taken to Shannon Medical Center with serious injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
