James Peoples Killed In Ashford, WA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 29th in Ashford, Washington.  James Peoples was tragically killed after being struck by an under the influence driver traveling the wrong way on State Route 706 at Mount Tahoma Canyon Road. The victim was crossing westbound SR when he was struck. Peoples suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash; sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.  The investigation is still ongoing, and there is no other information available at this time. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim

He was a good guy we had a lot of fun back in our 20's . He enjoyed chantrel mushroom picking pine cone picking. Back then songs we liked were Don't take the girl, Watermelon crawl ,n Fishing in the dark. So sad to find this unfortunate event happened while I was in Mexico, My deepest regards to his family.
