Tragic accident that occurred on November 8 in Franklin, Iowa. James Coombes suffered serious injuries in an accident involving a Kia and a Buick on Interstate 35 south. He was driving when he hit a deer, pulled into the right lane and was hit from behind by a Kia Rio driven by Jacob Hernandez. Coombes was transported to MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.
