James Branton Killed In Van Zandt, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 6 in Van Zandt, Texas. James Branton was tragically killed in a head-on accident with a driver that attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone on State Highway 19. The crash occurred when a Ford Escape driven by a 91-year-old woman attempted to pass several vehicles in a no-passing zone and collided with Branton’s Toyota Tacoma. Sadly, Branton was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
