Jacob Fuerte Killed In Studio City, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 15 in Studio City, California. LA City firefighter recruit Jacob Fuerte died in a hit-and-run on the northbound 101 Freeway while on his way to training. Initial reports indicate that there was a collison when the recruit got out of his vehicle to render aid to the possible victims. That is when another car crashed into Fuerte, fatally injuring him. Tragically, Fuerte died at the scene. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
