A 61-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by alleged hit-and-run motorist Hector Pena-Morillo as he was crossing Lexington Avenue. The 61-year-old victim was badly hurt and taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center where he remains. Pena-Morillo initially fled the scene but later returned and was arrested by authorities. He was charged with leaving the scene of a crash, endangering an injured victim, and driving without a license.
