Heather Waldron was injured when the vehicle she was a passenger in crashed into a tree along U.S. Highway 101. A 34-year-old man was driving a 2004 Honda Pilot and reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel. The vehicle crossed the centerline near milepost 205 and crashed into a tree. The driver was cited for second-degree negligent driving, failure to wear a seat belt, and operating a motor vehicle without a license. WSP is investigating.
