Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, December 12 at around 5:15 AM in Oroville California. Gary Woods has been identified as the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian. The unidentified woman was on foot along Highway 70 near Cox Lane when Woods came around a bend and swerved to avoid hitting the pedestrian. Unfortunately she was hit by the right front edge of the car. Subsequently the victim was then hit by several other automobiles. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
