Moped rider injured in suspected DUI crash on Loop 340

A tragic accident occurred on June 4 in Robinson, Texas, when Garrett Faulkenberry was allegedly driving under the influence and struck a moped rider at North Old Robinson Road and South Loop 340. Authorities said the victim suffered serious injuries including a possible broken wrist and concussion. Faulkenberry was arrested and charged with intoxication assault and collision resulting in serious bodily injury. The investigation is ongoing.
