Francisco Lomeli 20 Sadly Killed In Modesto CA. DUI Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, December 5 at about 10:10 PM in Modesto California. 20 year old Francisco Lomeli was tragically killed when the vehicle that he was a passenger in crashed with a drunk driver at the wheel. 19-year-old Nicolas Villela IV collided with a 2019 Chevy sedan driven by 19-year-old Debra Mendez when he failed to stop at a stop sign, broadsiding Mendez’s vehicle at a high rate of speed. As a result of the collision both vehicles hit power poles, and Lomeli was sadly killed. He is survived by his mother, father, sisters, and brother. A GoFundMe page that can be found below has been created to help pay for the funeral expenses. Viella was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter; he also faces a misdemeanor charge of battery on an officer after being uncooperative during his arrest.
