Four Skiers Rescued From Wasatch Mountains Near Mounthaven, UT

Pfeifferhorn peak avalache traps four men

Breaking news that four men have been rescued after getting caught in an avalanche above Alpine and Little Cottonwood Canyon, on the southside. The Utah County Sergeant Spencer Cannon reported that four men, all in their mid-20s, were caught in an avalanche while skiing. One of the men suffered a knee injury and the other a possible broken leg. Intitially, rescue efforts were postponed due to strong winds and avalanche warnings. The weather then improved and allowed for rescuers to take the victims to Inter Mountain Medical Center.
