Diego Lopez Killed In Cook, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 28 in Cook, Illinois. Diego Lopez died from injuries they sustained in a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of 87th Street and Cicero Avenue. A sedan traveling southbound was speeding and weaving between traffic when the driver lost control and collided with a northbound pickup truck. The force of the collision resulted in one of the vehicles involved severing into two pieces. Diego was launched from the vehicle and critically injured. He was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center where they were declared deceased. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
