Destiny Dixon Killed In Braidwood, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 1 in Braidwood, Illinois. Destiny Dixon lost her life in a hit-and-run crash along Interstate 55 when a passenger car and a tractor-trailer collided. Several people were assisting the occupants of the overturned car when they were struck by another vehicle. That driver continued without stopping. One of the pedestrians, 23-year-old Destiny Dixon was pronounced dead a short time later. The collision remains under investigation by ISP. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
