Debra Purcaro Killed In Alva, FL Bicycle Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, March 14 in Alva, Florida. Debra Purcaro, an experienced bicyclist, was tragically struck and killed while riding on N. River Rd. Purcaro was participating in the Caloosa Riders Bicycle Clubs Annual Royal Palm Challenge Appreciation Day Ride, when she was struck. The driver that struck the victim fled the scene after the crash. Anyone with information is urge to call the Florida Highway Patrol or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS. The accent remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
