David Krauth Killed In Massena, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, July 2nd at around 10:30 AM in Massena, Iowa. David Krauth and his beloved wife, were both tragically killed when their car was rear-ended by a teen driver on Highway 148. The Krauth’s were driving northbound when they were struck from behind by a Volkswagen Jetta driven by the teenager. The force of the collision sent the vehicle into a ditch. The couple tragically died due to injuries sustained in the crash. The Krauth’s are survived by their loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members. The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
