Teacher dies in head-on crash on U.S. Highway 90

A tragic accident occurred on July 31 in Liberty County, Texas, when Darla Marino was killed in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 90. According to DPS, Marino's SUV was struck by a westbound vehicle attempting to pass another car. She died at the scene. Two occupants of another vehicle, including a toddler, were hospitalized. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
