Dannie Norris Jr. Killed In Four Oaks, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 31 in Four Oaks, North Carolina. Dannie Norris Jr. lost his life when he was struck by a tractor-trailer along Interstate 95. His 2005 Kia Rio got a flat tire and he pulled his car to the shoulder and waited for a tow truck.  A tow truck driver was preparing to tow the Kia when it was struck by a 2022 Volvo tractor-trailer. Norris was killed in the crash. The truck driver faces misdemeanor charges of death by motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane control. The cause of the accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
