Damion Gardner was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while standing on the shoulder of the roadway in the 800 block of Arkadelphia Road. Gardner was standing on the grassy shoulder of the road when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle. The driver fled the scene after the collision.
