Crystal Melton Injured In Lawrence, MO Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on November 8 in Lawrence, Missouri. Crystal S. Melton was injured in a hit-and-run accident after being struck by a black Dodge pickup truck on Interstate 44, east of Mount Vernon. The driver of the pickup fled the scene after the accident. Melton was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of her injuries. The MSHP is actively pursuing the driver of the pickup. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
