Clayton Smith Killed in Longview, TX Accident

Alleged DUI crash on West Loop 281

A tragic accident occurred on June 27 in Longview, Texas, when Clayton Smith was killed in an alleged DUI crash in the 2200 block of West Loop 281 at about 7:50 p.m. Authorities said a Jeep crossed the median and struck Smith's Tahoe. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 45-year-old woman was arrested on intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault charges. The investigation remains ongoing.
