Clay Ruffin Killed In Wilson, NC Accident

Vehicle slams into restaurant on Forest Hills Road

Tragic accident that occurred on August 14th in Wilson, North Carolina. Clay Ruffin sadly died when a vehicle crashed into a Hardee's restaurant on Forest Hills Road. 78-year-old Jesse Lawrence crashed his vehicle into the restaurant striking the victim, and his brother. Clay Ruffin suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. He later succumbed to injuries. The accident remains under investigation by Wilson police.
