Christopher Simmons died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck driven by an alleged drunken driver. 75-year-old Alan Ingraham, was driving west when he failed to yield the right-of-way to an eastbound motorcycle. As a result, the vehicles collided. The motorcyclist, 29-year-old Christopher Simmons was transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Ingraham was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter in the second degree and driving while intoxicated. The crash remains under investigation.
