Cesar Luis Lopez Jr. Arrested In Kern, CA Accident

DWI accident on Highway 46

Tragic accident that occurred on November 1 in Kern, California. Cesar Luis Lopez Jr. was arrested in a DWI accident that killed a man on Highway 46. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a Freightliner truck-tractor with trailer combination operated by Cesar Luis Lopez Jr. was southbound on a private property dirt road approaching the westbound lanes. The CHP said that Lopez failed to yield to the unidentified victim’s Mercedes-Benz, resulting in the collision. Sadly, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said that Lopez was arrested, and authorities reported that alcohol appears to be a factor in this crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
