Carol Woods Killed In Weld, CO Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 5 in Weld, Colorado. Carol Woods was one of two people who died when an eastbound Kia traveling on Weld County Road 54 failed to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign at the intersection with County Road 49. As a result, the Kia was struck by a northbound tractor-trailer. One of the occupants of the Kia was identified as 65-year-old Carol Woods. Police are investigating to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the collision. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
