Carmella Lopez Killed In Tonawanda, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 27 in Tonawanda, New York. Carmella Lopez lost her life after she was tragically hit by a van on Canterbury Lane. The kindergarten student at Hoover Elementary School, was attempting to cross the street when she was hit by a Ford Transit Connect van. The 6-year-old girl, described as a bright light, full of joy, love, and laughter, was transported to Kenmore Mercy Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The vehicle driver, who was publicly identified, remained at the scene.
